Hello Hikers,

We are glad to invite you for Trek to Maharashtra's Highest Peak on 28th December 2014.

General Information:

Kalsubai temple is located at the topmost peak of Sahyadri mountain range of Maharastra. Being on the summit of Kalsubai is like your at the top of Maharashtra. Its dream place for every trekker in Maharashtra especially in Monsoon because of its divine view. The vastly spread out backwaters of Bhandardara attracts ones attention from the top. To the north of the mountain range forts such as Ramsej, Harihargad, Brahmagiri, Anjaneri, Ghargad, Bahula, Tringalwadi, Kavnai can be seen. To the east one can spot Aundha, Vishramgad, Bitangad, to the west Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (south west) and to the south Pabargad, Ghanchakkar, Harishchandragad can be seen.

At the summit there is a plain ground with a small temple of Kalsubai, a local deity. The main route to the temple is at small climbing slope . It usually takes three hours to reach the top from Bari. Soon after leaving Bari, a small stream is crossed followed soon after by a Hanuman temple. The route from behind this temple takes the hiker straight to the summit. It's really adventurous trek with breath taking natural views at every step.

Trek Itinerary:

Day 1:Saturday 27th December 2014
Catch a train to Kasara from CST at 10:50pm,
Reach Kasara at 1:30am
 Move from Mumbai to Base Village Bari By Private Vehicle

Day 2: Sunday 28th December 2014
·    04.00 am : Base Village and Rest in Bus
·    06.30 am : Tea and Breakfast
·    07:30 am : Start Trek.
·    10:30 am : Reach the Top .
·    11.00 pm : Explore, lunch and rest.
·    12.30 pm : Descend.
·    02.00 pm : Move to Mumbai
·    08.00 pm : Reach Mumbai  
                                                                                                         
The cost for the trek is  Rs. 900/-
Includes
Transportation from Kasara to Kasara by Private Vehicle, breakfast, Lunch and Evening refreshments etc....

We are glad to invite you all with your friends & family for Camping at Pimpalgaon Joge Dam near Malshej on 31st December 2014

On the occasion of New Year we have arranged camping at Pimpalgaon Joge Dam near Malshej.

Pimpalgaon Joge Dam, is an earthfill  dam on Ar river, a tributary of Kukadi River near Junnar .
It is situated near Khubi phata near Malshej Ghat.It is surronded by many hills including Sindola Fort and historical Junnar city.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Tuesday 31st December 2014

  02.30 PM : Gathering near Kalyan Bus Depo
  06.00  PM  :Reach Khubi Phata and move towards  Camping Location
                  Setup tents
  10.00  PM : Dinner (Veg/Nonveg)
Campfire and Welcome to the New-Year 2015

Day 2:
Wednesday 1st January 2015

08:00 AM: Breakfast and Tea
10:00 AM : Roaming around the lake and visit Khereshwar Temple
01.00 PM : Move towards Mumbai

Things to be carried:

A Water Bottle (~2-3 Ltrs),
Torch With Extra Battery (Must)
Camera, Cell Phone, Cap
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Personal Medical Kit, Medicine those if you require usually (Optional)
Extra Pair of clothes, Sleeping Bag/Carry Mat
A haversack to put all these things

All our treks are Eco-friendly treks; kindly take care of nature around us. Smoking and Drinking alcohol during trek is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from trek without refund.

Tour participation cost will be Rs.1100/- per head.

History: Gorakhgad is a fort that can be done easily in a day from Mumbai. Though not famous for any historical events, Gorakhgad attracts trekkers due to its inviting pinnacles, which offer good opportunities for rock-climbing. This region of Gorakhgad and Machhindragad has a dense forest cover.  It was had strategic importance during the reign of Shahaji Raje. However, no major battle is recorded to have taken place here. It was used in Shivaji’s era to patrol the nearby region and was used as a stopover station during the journey to Junnar via Naneghat. Though small in size, there is enough availability water and a lot of space for accommodation. The fort gets its name from Saint Gorakhnath, who performed his “Sadhana” in this place.

Meeting Point: 24h Dec. Wednesday, Kalyan ST Depot at 09.45 pm (exactly opposite Kalyan station (West).
From Here will catch ST to Murbad and then from Murbad to Dehri via ST/Local Jeeps.
1.00 am at Dehri. Tea, Refreshment & Introduction.
1.30 am ascend
4.00 am till cave.
Rest till 6.30 am.
7.00 am Breakfast
7.30 am ascend till top.
8.15 am a top & exploration, photography.
9.05 am  till cave
10.00 am descend till base village.
12.30 pm lunch
1.30 pm towards Kalyan
4.00 pm kalyan (30 min + -)

The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing comprising a large number of interconnected baffled cells. This Event is planned to gift you the most memorable 15 minutes of your own life…the moments that you will be in the air…at the height that birds fly…enjoying the real meaning of Independence and Joy!! Wing shape is maintained by the suspension lines, the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing, and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing over the outside. Our professional experts provide this paragliding ride at Kamshet near Lonavala. Every healthy adult is eligible for this.
