Dear Hikers,

We invite you to an overnight adventure trek to Dhak Bahiri Caves on 11th of January 2015, starting on 10th night.

One of the perfect for adventures. Where we can also experience the thrill of technical climbing and natural rock climbing.
Being listed in toughest treks in Sahyadri Dhak Cha Bahiri offers the thrill of climbing a rock patch using support of a wooden log and a raw rope; facing considerable exposure.

Team Youth Hikers assures safety of our participants by providing appropriate technical support making the ascend safe and enjoyable to everyone.

The itinerary for the trek is as given below.
Transportation till Lonavala: People are requested to reserve tickets in any of the train reaching Lonavala before 09.15pm
options: Sahyadri Express, Deccan Express available from Mumbai
Or people may opt to board any buy for Lonavala reaching there before 9.15 pm as per their convenience.

Meeting Point : 9:20 pm at Lonavala Station sharp on 10th January, 2015
09.35pm : Train to Kamshet
10.00pm : Travel to Jambholi via local transport
11.00pm : Dinner Break
11.30pm : Start the night trek till base of Bahiri caves
01.00am : Retire in the jungle, campfire, fun
06.00am : Breakfast
06.30am : Start the trek
09.30am : Reach the caves
10.30am : Start descending
12.30pm : Lunch Break
01.30pm : Proceed to Vadap
05.50pm : Karjat
09.00pm : Reach Mumbai / Pune Tentatively

Rules & Regulations

Safety is our prime concern and we don't make compromises for the same.
A Few rules that all participants must follow:
1. Participants are requested to carry the waste back to the city and dispose it off in trash box.
2. Do not disturb the flora and fauna. No making pretty bouquets of grabbed flowers and blooms.
3. No feeding and intimidating birds and other animals.
4. Do not destroy/ write on archaeological or historical monuments.
5. Chewing Tobacco, Consumption of Cigarette and Alcohol is strictly not being permitted during the event. Anyone found in possession of the same or consuming it will be expelled from the trek. No REFUND will be provided.
6. The ‘Leader’s’ decision will be final and binding on all members. No Arguments will be entertained.
7. Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety and baggage.
8. In case of any injury, sickness, accident, death, Bike accident or any other casualty or loss or damage of valuables or luggage or any equipment; The Youth Hikers, it’s instructors, organizers, volunteers or any other person involved wholly or partially, either individually or jointly, shall not be responsible in any manner for the same and no claims (any kind) of the participants, parents, guardians, relatives or friends of participants will be entertained.
9. It is of utmost importance that all participants stick together in the group.
10. The Youth Hikers reserves the right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without prior notice. No arguments or refunds will be entertained.
11. Adventure activity is arranged considering normal weather. In case of occurrence of any natural calamities, if event is cancelled, in such circumstances NO REFUND will be provided.
