We are inviting you to participate in the trek cum exploration to the valley of shadow's, The Sandhan Valley, a mesmerizing walk through a valley, formed by the tallest walls of sahyadri..a walk to remember, rappells in between and a camping at the lake, below...
“SANDHAN”…. is a beautiful place situated in the Western Ghats near Ratangad. Amidst the water carved valley of 50 to 500 feet deep and around two km long. Experience the heart throbbing crossing of 4 feet deep water pool in the way of rock floored water carved valley. You will enjoy the thrill of rappelling at three – four places. This will be your memorable trek.
Here we won’t be hiking a fort or a pinnacle but what we are going to visit is 2 km long natural gorge formed by the force of flowing water.
It’s a kind of experience to walk through this 500 ft deep narrow gorge where in one has to tackle uneven rock patches, patches where in one has to cross water pools as deep as 4 ft.
It’s a complete adventure package as we will be rappelling down 3 rock patches.

Board the second compartment from Kasara side of the train from your respective stations so that we can meet in the compartment itself.
Day 1 -
Reach Samrad by Private vehicle

Morning Refreshment at base village
07:00 am – Start Exploration
Lunch Midway
05:30 pm – Reach at base, dinner, campfire & stay
Day 2 -
6.00 am -- Wake Up
Finish morning refreshments
Start descend towards Dehne
Travel Dehne to Shahapur by local transport
1:30 pm -- Reach Shahapur
Proceed for Asangaon
Reach Mumbai by Local train by 08:00 pm (depending upon the railway mega blocks)
The cost for the trek is Rs. 1600/- (Discount will be given on group bookings of 5 person and above)
The cost Includes
Transportation from Kasara till Asangaon,
Breakfast & Dinner (24th Oct.)
Breakfast & Refreshments (25th Oct.)
Rappelling Charges.
Exclusions
Anything not mentioned in Inclusions

Torch With Extra Battery (Must)
Camera, Cell Phone, Cap
Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Personal Medical Kit, Medicine those if you require usually (Optional)
Extra Pair of clothes, Sleeping Bag/Carry Mat
Good trekking shoes, carry extra pair of shoes or floaters if possible
A haversack to put all these things

Terms And Conditions
■ It is up to the individual to arrange their own holiday / accident insurance & each adult would be asked to sign a liability waiver.
■ Youth Hikers hold the right to change the venue, or date, of the event,
■ Event may be cancelled or postponed due to natural calamity, any system error,
■ In case event place or venue is changed, Youth Hikers will notify same to participants by phone, web and Face book, WhatsApp no change in costing will be charged
■ In case of cancellation of event, money will be returned to those who have enrolled, without any cutting.
All our treks are Eco-friendly treks; kindly take care of nature around us. Smoking and Drinking alcohol during trek is strictly prohibited if anyone found doing that will be expelled from trek without refund.
